KOTEI Germany and Ignite by FORVIA HELLA Enter Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Global Compliance Adaptation for OEMs

On April 24, 2026, at Auto China 2026 in Beijing, KOTEI Germany and Ignite by FORVIA HELLA announced a strategic partnership to jointly advance intelligent simulation toolchains and build an innovative automotive software ecosystem for the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) era.

The agreement was signed by Lv Nan, Global Vice President of Marketing & Sales at KOTEI Informatics and CEO of KOTEI Germany, and Andreas Leiting, representing Ignite by FORVIA HELLA. Core members from both teams attended the signing ceremony.

Using European regulatory validation as an example, real-world road testing for autonomous driving systems often involves high safety risks and limited repeatability for accurate verification. To address these challenges, KOTEI’s DreamCarSim simulation platform provides autonomous vehicles with a high-fidelity, executable, and interactive simulation environment, supporting precise outputs of environmental, traffic, and vehicle ground-truth data across the full workflow from algorithm development to system validation.

At the same time, Ignite.Driving provides a clear, traceable, and continuously updateable regulatory layer for autonomous driving systems. The platform transforms traffic regulations from different countries into executable rule engines and code, enabling real-time compliance constraints and behavioral validation for autonomous driving functions.

Together, the combined solution creates a unified maturity evaluation framework for autonomous driving technology stacks by integrating “Regulation as Code” with high-fidelity simulation. By continuously validating autonomous driving algorithms against traffic regulations in virtual environments, compliance verification can be shifted earlier into the development cycle, significantly reducing road-testing risks and certification costs.

The solution enables compliance assessments against European standards directly within simulation environments, offering key advantages including no on-road testing, zero-risk validation, and fully automated evaluation workflows. This helps OEMs accelerate the deployment of globally compliant autonomous driving solutions.

Looking ahead, KOTEI Germany and Ignite by FORVIA HELLA plan to jointly promote proof-of-concept projects and demonstration activities for customers across Europe and Asia. Leveraging their respective strengths in technology, market access, and ecosystem development, the two companies aim to support regional customers in accelerating the intelligent transformation of simulation testing in the SDV era.

The partnership also marks another important step in KOTEI Germany’s localization strategy in Europe and its broader global expansion roadmap. Supported by localized engineering capabilities and technical service teams, both companies plan to expand testing service coverage across Europe, improve customer responsiveness and delivery efficiency, and further accelerate the globalization of advanced automotive software solutions.
